Privacy Policy

Lumina Light Co. (“Lumina Light Co.,” “we,” “us”) installs holiday lighting. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, request a quote, book an install, or text or email us, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, home address, email address, phone number, and anything you write to us (change requests, access notes like a gate code or where the outdoor outlet is).
• Photos of your home that you upload, the lighting designs we generate from them, and photos our crew takes of the finished install.
• Property information for your address from public mapping and property data (roof outline, size and location), which we use to measure and price the job.
• Booking and payment records: your quote, install and takedown dates, deposits, invoices and payments. Card details are entered on our payment processor's page; we never see or store your full card number.
• Messages: the emails and texts we send you and the ones you send us, and your text-message consent and opt-out history.
• Technical information: your IP address, used to limit abuse of the free design tool, and standard server logs kept by our hosting providers. We don't use advertising trackers or sell ad targeting.

How we use it

• To create your lighting design, measure your roofline, and prepare your quote.
• To schedule, install, service, and take down your lights, and to plan crew routes.
• To send you messages about your quote, booking, reminders, arrival times, service visits, invoices, and (after an install) a request for a review.
• To take payments, keep business records, and meet legal and tax obligations.
• To prevent fraud and misuse, and to improve our service.

We use automated tools, including AI models, to render designs from your photos, estimate measurements, and help draft messages. Automated output is checked against our own rules, and our team oversees the quotes and messages that go out.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

• Hosting and database providers that store the website and your records.
• AI model providers that generate design renders and help draft messages from your photos and project details.
• Google mapping and solar data services, which receive your address to locate and measure your roof.
• Our email provider and our text-messaging provider, which deliver messages to you.
• Our payment processor, which handles deposits and invoice payments.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people or property, or as part of selling or reorganizing the business.

Text messaging: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the messaging provider that delivers our texts to you.

Text messages

We only text you if you agree to it, for example by ticking the text-message box on our quote form or telling us on a call. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our SMS terms for details. Opting out of texts doesn't affect your quote or booking; we'll use email instead.

How long we keep it

• Designs that never become a quote request are deleted automatically after about a week.
• Customer records (quotes, bookings, photos, invoices) are kept while you're a customer and for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and accounting purposes.
• We keep a record of text-message consent and opt-outs even after other records are deleted, so an opt-out is always honored.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. When we delete a customer record we also delete its photos and designs. We may keep what the law requires us to keep (such as payment records). Some states give residents additional rights; we honor those requests too.

Security

Your quote page is reachable only through a private link we send you. Our team signs in to see customer records, and we use providers that encrypt data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't forward your private quote link to people you don't want to see it.

Children

Our services are for homeowners and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
